About the Therapist

Natalie Winter has been
involved in the canine world for over 19 years as both a
competitor and instructor in agility, confirmation,
Obedience, endurance and flyball. She first
"stumbled" on Massage therapy when her best Friend
Tinkerbell (pictured below laying down) suffered from
chronic back pain due to injuries sustained in the
agility ring. In order to do everything she could for
her friend, her research pointed her towards Canine
Massage Therapy and Small Animal acupressure.
Her husband Geoff who is in the Australian Navy was
posted to the USA so she moved from Australia to the USA
in 2001 for 3 1/2 years and began her intense full time study of
canine massage gaining her full certification in 2002.
She has since written a book
called "Canine Massage - taking the mystery out of
massaging your dog" which has been extremely popular
around the world. The book is avilable at our
online store and is about to be published by an
international publishing company in late 2009.
Her
thirst for knowledge of canine movement & rehabilitation
drove her to work in conjunction with many vets and
veterinary chiropractors on both the East and West Coast
of the USA . The results were so successful that it
became a full time profession in 2002 with a dedicated
client base consisting of post operative care patients
as well canine athletes of all fields including
greyhounds. Her canine experience and her
ability to quickly pick up on a dogs needs along with
her proven success and
reputation as a therapist, has enabled her to work on
some of the best canine athletes in the USA and
Australia.
